The creative director and designer began a booming bespoke business four years ago and tells Brides "it was a natural progression to make [bridal] more part of Alison Lou"—just in time for proposal season, too!

A nod to Chemla's creativity and talent, the collection cannot be defined by a single style. Rather, each of the seven settings has their own specific personality—and the option to be customized to one's liking. "Every time we've had someone come and design an engagement ring, everyone has their own vision," says Chelma, adding, "So, I really wanted to give that range for all my clientele."

There's Samantha, a timeless ring featuring a hidden double halo and diamond pavé band; Babs, a cocktail-inspired ring boasting too many sparkling diamonds to count; and the modernized, bezel-set Victoria ring that reminds us of something royalty would wear. But while no two rings are the same, Chemla's use of enamel and big stones are the common threads. "I really love working with enamel when it comes to bridal," she admits. "I feel like it gives the rings a little extra something."
