Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik Welcome a Baby Girl

Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik are officially parents! The supermodel and musician welcomed their first child together over the weekend and already have the sweetest words to say about the little on.

Based on the new parents' Instagram announcements from Sept. 23, the couple couldn't be happier to finally meet their baby girl. "Our girl joined us earth-side this weekend and she’s already changed our world. So in love," wrote Hadid, alongside a photo of the newborn holding Malik's hand.

New father Malik shared similar sentiments, writing, "Our baby girl is here, healthy and beautiful...to try put into words how I am feeling right now would be an impossible task. The love I feel for this tiny human is beyond my understanding. Grateful to know her, proud to call her mine, and thankful for the life we will have together."

Of course, famous friends of the pair as well as thousands of fans were quick to flood the comments with congratulatory messages. Fellow supermodel Hailey Bieber couldn't hold back her excitement for the couple saying, "Welcome baby girl! So happy for you guys," while Kourtney Kardashian left a string of heart-warming emojis.

Hadid's father, real estate developer Mohammed Hadid proved to be an elated grandpa with his loving comment: "Congrats .. Jido’s heart belongs to you.. baby girl"—using the Arabic word for grandfather.

Fans will recall that it wasn't too long ago when Hadid, Malik, and others in their circle were patiently awaiting the baby's arrival. Just last week, Hadid's mother and fellow model shared a photo showing off her daughter's ever-growing baby bump. "Waiting patiently for her angel to be born......," she captioned the post.

And in true supermodel fashion, Hadid posed in all of her pregnancy glory earlier this summer (Seriously, the photos are stunning.) She referred to her baby as an "angel" and was "cherishing this time."

News broke of Malik and Hadid's unexpected pregnancy in April of 2020, after fans revealed that the supermodel's 25th birthday celebration doubled as a gender reveal. Between Hadid's modeling genes and Malik's musical talents, one thing is for certain: They now have on talented baby! And perhaps, the birth of their daughter will lead to a proposal in the near future. We'll just be patiently waiting for a ring! But until then, congrats to the newest celebrity parents.
