So, you have pretty much everything planned for your winter wedding--the dress, the venue, the photographer...now it's time to think about decor! Long gone are the days of the overplayed "winter wonderland" theme (read: glitter covered everything, blue uplighting, and white everything) being in the forefront of chic cold weather weddings--these days it's all about creativity and doing something with an unexpected twist for your winter wedding. Now, let's not go crazy here--don't get too literal with your wintery theme...we haven't seen a pinecone centerpiece we liked, ever, for example, and we fail to see a coolness factor in anything brushed with fake snow. Just don't do it. Consider this your PSA.
One of the most important parts of your decor, naturally, are your flowers. There are so many ways to do winter flowers beyond the tight, all-white, super formal arrangements of the past--from dark and moody, to lush winter greenery and berries, to loose and romantic winter whites--the ideas are endless. Here are some of our favorite winter centerpiece ideas.
