Well Red

The Look: Matching crimson cheeks and lips thrilled the crowd at Michael Kors. Aiming for a "glamorous, sporty" effect, makeup artist Dick Page dabbed Shiseido's Lacquer Rouge lipstick ($25) all over. "What makes this perfect for a bride is the clarity," he says. "The girls looked bright, clean—very alive."

Well Red

For Your Wedding Day: For cheeks, swap in a cream blush, and keep the color confined to the "apples" (the roundest part of your face when you smile).

Power Brows

The Look: Tom Ford showed a lush brow paired with sculpted cheeks and nude lips. "I'm about structured, arched, thick brows, not overplucked, overwaxed brows," says Ford. "Brows must be groomed but natural-looking."

Power Brows

For Your Wedding Day: If time permits, stop tweezing and let your brows grow back in. Too late for that? Address a strategy with your makeup artist in your trial. Done well, pencil fill-ins can look fantastic.

Azure Eyes

The Look: At Jason Wu, it was all about a blue-green twist on smoky eyes.

Azure Eyes

For Your Wedding Day: The key to pulling off a bold shade, says makeup artist Pati Dubroff, is to tie it into the rest of your palette. "For weddings, I like to find cues from jewelry or flowers," she notes. "The rest of the face should be finished but shouldn't distract from the eye element."

Winged Victory

The Look: Ladylike jet black eyeliner—with a flourish—ruled the day at Ralph Lauren.

Winged Victory

For Your Wedding Day: To keep cat eyes contemporary, add a "healthy, rosy cheek" and sheer lip stain, recommends Dubroff. But avoid coral or red, she says, which can tip this look into retro territory. For precise definition, use a magnifying mirror and line as close to the lash as possible. "For daytime, the wing should be demure," says Dubroff. "For a formal event, it can be more pronounced."
