What do you get when you cross your favorite French fashion brand with the coolest indie bridal designer? Spoiler alert: It’s an epic wedding-dress, wedding-accessory, and rehearsal-dinner-perfect collection we are just dying over. If you’re all about emulating French-girl style (and who isn’t?), cult online retailer Sézane and Parisian bridal designer Laure de Sagazan have partnered on the collection of your dreams.
You’ve coveted Sézane's epically French offerings since the brand came stateside via a partnership with Madewell, and now it’s time to take that “je ne sais quoi” to all of your wedding-related outfits. Sézane and Laure de Sagazan’s new 10-piece bridal collection is here to make planning your wedding style a total breeze. The collection is full of what makes Parisian-girl style so universally enviable: silk shirts, Calais-lace blouses, a low-back white minidress (perfect post-reception for a beach wedding!), a cozy knitted sweater that will make you want to throw a winter wedding just to wear it as a topper, and even shoes.
If you're all about minimalism and looking for a no-fuss wedding-day look, you've come to the right place. Laure de Sagazan's own collection is traditionally all about fabrics (loads and loads of delicate lace) and romance (think vintage-inspired dreamy frocks), and this collection is no different. The designer approached her capsule wedding collection for Sézane with the same thoughtfulness she brings to her namesake brand.
"We were very excited to work with the super-talented team of Sézane on offering a great collection at a great price without compromising on quality. We love the knit and lace combo (it's the 'coolest' cover-up option!), and it’s always a struggle for our brides to get the right color or shape to match their dress," said de Sagazan.
Remember that time you didn’t know what you would do after J.Crew’s wedding-dress collection was no more? Well, here’s your answer! The whole collection is available online at Sézane, and select accessories will be available at Laure De Sagazan’s SoHo atelier in New York.
