"I think the secret to a happy marriage is having someone who has the same basic understanding and agreement on life as you," says Caroline who has been married to her husband for 25 years. "You also have to be able to agree to disagree on certain issues, but being on the same page with the important issues. Most importantly, respect each other and accept each other for the people you, are faults and all."

Caroline's sister Dina was also married at the Brownstone in Paterson. "We closed the entire venue down because we needed every room and the tented parking lot to house our 700 plus guests!" says Dina.

"Take some time to thank your guests but then relax and celebrate the reason why you are throwing this party!" says Dina as her number one wedding planning tip. Aside from being a Housewife, Dina owns an event planning company in New Jersey.
