Giving your big day the royal wedding treatment just got a little bit easier. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding florist, Philippa Craddock, has just launched a new line of faux flower hair accessories that's perfect for brides.
This is the London-based florist’s second line of hair accessories, according to Vogue, and they are now exclusively available at matchesfashion.com. According to Craddock's website, the 10-piece spring collection is inspired by “British country gardens, with their flower beds full to bursting with hydrangeas, dahlias, roses, and delicate blossoms from the orchard trees.”
With the Duke and Duchess of Sussex joining the famous florist's already impressive list of clientele—she has previously worked with Alexander McQueen, Christian Dior, and Hermès—it might be a little hard to get Craddock as your own wedding florist, but her artistry can now still be a part of your wedding day, thanks to her new flower crowns and floral hair accessories.
The line features a variety of brooches, headbands, and hairpins all made from a combination of silk, cotton, and linen. Each flower is sewn onto handmade silver pins and satin bands made by local London milliners. The flowers, in all of their rich colors, are perfectly imperfect with slight bruises and wrinkles to give them even a more natural look and feel. “It’s easy to make every single petal perfect, but for it to look natural, it needs some of those flaws,” Craddock explained to Vogue. Whether you're going for a subtle accent or an over-the-top hair accessory in lieu of a veil, the collection ranges from single-blossom pins to full-on floral headdresses, so there is something for everyone.
The ethereal and feminine quality of the hair accessories are inherently bridal, and are perfect for dressing up your locks at your bridal shower, rehearsal dinner, and especially at your wedding. Shop some of our favorite pieces from Philippa Craddock's hair accessories line below!
