It's that time of year again... the ready-to-wear collections (aka Fashion Week Month!) have come and gone, and we are waiting with baited breath for bridal fashion week to kick off. While we wait to see what some of our favorite wedding dress designers have in store for 2018's brides, it's time to take a look at what designers showed in Paris this past week. Paris Fashion Week can always be counted on for the absolute latest and greatest when it comes to high fashion, and what does that mean for you dear brides? Well, what we see on the ready-to-wear runways is bound to make an impact on wedding dresses of the future. So what trends will we be seeing soon? Ruffles, ruffles, ruffles! Lots of sparkle, sheer lace, uneven hemlines, and boudoir dressing are all trends brides-to-be getting married next year should keep an eye on.
So what did we love at Paris Fashion Week? First off, designers like Chanel, Dior, Elie Saab, Valentino, McQueen, Giambattista Valli, and more, all filled their spring collections with plenty of wedding white. But there were also some beautiful takes on pale blue and blush that would be right at home walking down the aisle. And, yes, we know: "Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking." Floral embroideries adorned some of our favorite looks and you can definitely expect to see even more floral wedding dresses when you're ready to wedding dress shop!
