Spring 2017 Bridal Fashion Week kicked off on Wednesday and designer Randi Rahm's newest wedding dress collection was the perfect way to get the highly anticipated week to come started. Recognized for her classically trained eye, Rahm's refined taste creates a seamless transition into beautiful, classic wedding gowns. What brides can expect from her collections are timeless looks that will fill any room with grandeur and the quintessential spirit of bridal, however it is her innovative touches that evolve each season which keep her wedding dresses in demand and not to be missed.
The wedding dresses this season proved no different for the esteemed designer, revealing floor length gowns with romance flowing from bodice to hem. Rahm chose off-white lace, giving off a vintage European aesthetic, while draping, gathering and pleating created breathtaking modern pieces out of classic lace. Each style seems to pay homage to a different era of glam throughout the decades, while still carrying Rahm's signature tone throughout the collection.
A draw dropping lace ball gown opened the collection, with a strapless corset bodice synched at the waist where tightly gathered lace seamlessly streams down to create a wide pleated skirt. Although seemingly traditional overall, the structured bodice is where Rahm's impeccable taste shines through. With a square sweetheart neckline, the strapless number stands out amongst the sea of typical sweetheart designs. While the wedding dresses had a classic feel, the contemporary elements made this collection a true testament to Rahm's highly sought after creations.
