Our biggest fashion obsession (next to bridalwear, that is...)? Celebrity red carpet style. Come award show season, we're scouring that crimson-colored carpet for the sweeping trains, gorgeous gowns, and glittering details worn by Hollywood's A-list. A particular favorite of the stars? J. Mendel, a designer loved by the likes of Emma Stone, Kristen Bell, Taylor Swift, and Jennifer Garner for his sleek and sexy red carpet gowns — and by us for his breathtaking bridal line!

Wedding dresses by J. Mendel are well-known for their feminine vibe that, at the same time, is unmistakably fashion-forward. A master at blending the classic with the unexpected — think traditional chiffon and lace fabrics combined with striking silhouettes — J. Mendel designs for the chic-as-can-be city girl who still wants to look distinctly bridal. With J. Mendel wedding dresses, a modern minimalist aesthetic, sculptural silhouettes, and expert draping come together for endless sleek and effortlessly elegant wedding day looks.

J. Mendel's Spring 2017 collection was thankfully no different, full of the all the modern-fem details we've come to expect — and love! — from the designer, but with a few refreshing details thrown in.

A sultry sliver of skin peeking out of a keyhole cut-out at the waist, a Grecian-inspired sheath made modern with vertical ruffles, and a sheer illusion bodice with a slew of expertly-placed appliqués helped edge-out the otherwise soft looks, making the feminine totally fashion-forward. With necklines varied as the looks themselves (off-the-shoulder! a halter! a deep V!), impactful silhouettes, and some truly breathtaking beadwork, there are endless details of J. Mendel's collection to get inspired by for your own stylish affair. A favorite of ours? A sleek-as-can-be column gown, featuring a bejeweled halter neckline and a sultry bodice cut-out. No doubt about it, this is definitely how the cool-girl bride walks down the aisle...
