What do you do when you have the most pinned wedding dress on Pinterest? You double down on a new collection of wedding dresses that’s even more exciting. That’s the case for Grace Loves Lace, the Australian bridal brand whose bohemian Hollie gown was officially the most popular wedding dress on Pinterest last year. But let’s forget about the past—Grace Loves Lace’s newest collection, called Elixir, just launched, and you have to see these wedding dresses before they sell out like their predecessors.
It’s no wonder Grace Loves Lace founder Megan Ziems claims this is the collection she is the most proud of out of all of her designs. And of course she looked to the chicest set of women when asked what inspired this new collection: "The European woman who is effortlessly glamorous. She's electric! She's passionate, captivating, she has soul," Ziems told BRIDES. "We don't design with the bride in mind—we always have a strong sense of who the woman is." AMEN! We couldn't love that more.
With style elements being influenced by Spain and Turkey, you can expect gorgeous trains, tassel details, and intricate trims on the 12 new wedding dresses, three new veils and three new capes—not to mention the new bridal jewelry!
"We have some really exciting new fabrics in some new threads and weaves that don't look like laces at all," said Ziems. She added, "The laces we have used this season speak to our love of art. My favorite of the laces is a three-dimensional oversized singular rose design that I want to frame!"
With wedding dresses ranging in price from $1,500–4,000, these new styles are destined to fly off the shelves, hence the Web site. And there's no way you're compromising quality for a good price. "For us it's about making quality manufacturing of luxurious high-end fabrics and making them accessible and wearable to women worldwide. We don't mass produce offshore and we ensure our fabrics and garment construction stay true to our high standard," Ziems told BRIDES.
So which of these dresses will be the most pinned wedding dress this year? We'll let the designer herself weigh in: "Well, for the first time I have named a gown Megan because it's my dream dress. That, along with Arden (we are all in love with the fabric and sleeve!), Edie, and Camille are showstoppers, and Emanuela I'm dying over…" You heard it here first.
Grace Loves Lace’s new collection is available now online and at their Venice Beach, London, and Australia showrooms.
