It was love at first sight when Edward Stewart laid eyes on Lisa Hollenbeck. They were both working at the Boone Docks restaurant in Glen Arbor, MI, and Edward couldn't help but notice the girl he describes as "the prettiest thing in the world." He immediately asked his co-worker Jeff about her. As fate would have it, five years later, Edward would find himself back in Glen Arbor with Jeff by his side as he married Lisa.
After the couple had been dating for three years, Edward proposed to Lisa on bended knee at a party celebrating his graduation from the Illinois College of Optometry. Lisa accepted, and the party quickly turned into an engagement bash. "He took me by surprise, that's for sure," says Lisa, who still had one year of college left at the University of Kentucky. They planned to marry the summer after Lisa's graduation.
