Ever since the news broke that Kanye West proposed to Kim Kardashian, we've been anxiously awaiting details about the pair's pending nuptials. We know the celebrity couple's wedding will be nothing short of extravagant. After all, West rented out an entire baseball stadium to pop the question and presented the reality star with a blinding 15-carat cushion-cut diamond engagement ring. So far, we know that Kim is relinquishing all wedding planning control to her future hubby, and she will also be taking West's last name. Beyond those details, we've been left to our own devices when it comes to dreaming up the future celebrity-filled blowout.

Aside from the when and where, the most anticipated Kimye wedding detail is Kim Kardashian's wedding dress. While she donned not one, not two, but three glamorous Vera Wang dresses for her last go-round, we know Kanye will have a huge say in her wedding-day styling. (He's been known to take the reins when it comes to Kim's closet). And since the reality star's previous wedding style was princess-perfect, we have a hunch that this time she'll be looking for a gown that's edgier and more avant-garde.

In an effort to satiate our hunger for fashion details, we reached out to some of our favorite wedding dress designers for their fantasy take on Kim Kardashian's gown. From heavily embellished mermaid silhouettes to seductive, plunging necklines to high-volume trains, bridal designers including Reem Acra, Rivini, and Ines Di Santo dreamed up gorgeous gowns for the bride-to-be. Here, our 11 favorite fantasy gowns for the future Mrs. Kim Kardashian West.

We wouldn't be surprised if Reem Acra, beloved bridal designer and red carpet regular, designed Kim Kardashian's future wedding dress. After all, Acra is known for her intricate detailing and luxe designs, a quality we know the celeb admires. We can easily see the future Mrs. West in this dress, with its fashionably textured train and ultra-sultry low back. It's dramatic and fashionable with just the right dash of sex appeal.

Since Kim chose a more traditional, princess-like ball gown for her last trip down the aisle, we have an inkling that she'll opt for something with more edge. Don O'Neill, Creative Director of Theia, agrees. "Having gone the traditional route with her last wedding, she can now feel free to try color," says O'Neill of his proposed design. "The skirt has a blush pink lining, and the ivory flowers on the skirt are delicately tipped with blush pink." Aside from a touch of color, the silhouette is unsurprisingly curve-hugging and features a "lavish attention to detail with its intricate Swarovski crystal, silver lined glass bead embroidery and miniature handmade silk flowers."

Rivini

Since coupling up with Kanye, Kim's style has undeniably changed. Rather than going for overtly glam, the celeb has been rocking sleeker and more subdued pieces. This Rivini sketch speaks to her transformation—instead of choosing a full-on ball gown or high-drama mermaid, designer Rita Vinieris went for a streamlined silhouette with a more modest neckline. Yet there's no mourning the once-showy Kim: The embellished illusion top features a plunging V-neck, giving this gown a sassy and on-trend touch.

Ines Di Santo

As we predicted, the ladies behind ultra-glam bridal design house Ines Di Santo took hubby-to-be Kanye's taste into consideration. "The signature mermaid style would compliment Kim's curves and the organza layers float behind the bride evoking feeling of sublime lightness," says mother-daughter design team Ines and Veronica Di Santo. "We feel Kanye would approve of the Baroque beading and embroidery." Personally, we love how this gown would accentuate Kim's natural assets, especially with such a flattering ruched bodice, scooped neck, and ruffled skirt.

Talk about glam! Watters also decided that Kim K's wedding dress could use a touch of color. And this curve-skimming silhouette isn't without some serious bling. "With her amazing skin-tone and new blonde hair color, I imagined her wearing a soft nude blush color, which she wears so well," says Vatana Watters, President and Founder of Watters. "The dress is made of our Oatmeal tulle, soft watercolor-printed shimmer sequin lace under an overlay of Alençon lace, and encrusted with Swarovski crystals to complement Kim's glamorous side." Complement it would! Just imagine the way it would shimmer while she dances the night away. It definitely sports enough sparkle to satisfy the E! star.

Jim Hjelm

Jim Hjelm's design for Kim Kardashian certainly offers a more modest take—the graduated trumpet skirt, embellished bodice, and sleek long sleeves are sophisticated and timeless. Of course, it wouldn't be worthy of a Kardashian without a show-stopping detail, in this case, a deep V-neck.

Unlike the ruffled skirts and bedazzled bodices other designers dreamed up, Hayley Paige sketched a softer, lace-embellished mermaid gown design for Kim. The silhouette still hugs Kim's curves and flaunts a low-cut neckline, but like Jim Hjelm's fantasy dress, Hayley Paige's also sports stylish long sleeves. We love how the sketch includes a high-drama cathedral-length veil with the same intricate lace appliqés as the gown.

With colorful floral embellishments and blush undertones, it's clear that designer Jessica Williams of Alvina Valenta envisions a spring or summer Kimye celebration. We love the contrast of the romantic detailing with the dramatic silhouette and eye-catching open back.

We're certain Kim is going to make a high-fashion selection, and Val Stefani's two-piece, high-neck, black lace ensemble fits the bill perfectly. The highly detailed and alternative mermaid gown also takes into consideration Kim's switch to a darker, monochromatic wardrobe, as well as the recent crop top bridal runway trend.

Kelly Faetanini also imagines Kim in a mermaid-style gown. Her dress sketch, which the designer described as a "dramatic fit-to-flare silhouette in silk georgette with endless flowing flounces," perfectly blends structure and movement. No matter how refined Kim's taste has become, we know the celebrity can't resist a touch of bling. That's why Faetanini fashioned the back with twinkling rhinestone buttons—just enough sparkle to feel special without having too much shimmer.

Bridal designer Angel Rivera took into consideration the star's personal style and her most important job—motherhood. "Kim has been working very hard to get into shape after baby North," Rivera says. "So I designed a gown that shows her figure and hugs all her beautiful curves."
