12 Items You Need to Organize Your Life

These baskets and bins will help corral your clutter (and are cute enough to keep on display)

Spring has FINALLY arrived and summer is just around the corner, which means it's time to dust off the old and bring in the new. We're talking spring cleaning, people. For most of us, it's not so much about washing windows or scrubbing floors (although actual cleaning can definitely be part of it), but it's more about organizing. It's time to get rid of all the things you no longer need and bring in some tools to help you to more easily access what you actually do use. Many of us live in small spaces, which means that many of things we're storing need to be in boxes or bins on display. And if you have extra space like a walk-in closet or pantry, isn't it nicer to look at a wall of pretty matching boxes and bins versus a mismatched assortment of strictly utilitarian plastic pieces? It might even be the incentive you need to get and stay organized.

If you're stashing items in a bookshelf or other large piece of furniture, think about using multiples of the same design (with some variations in size) to keep the overall look feeling clean and not too cluttered. Square and rectangle-shaped boxes fit more seamlessly on a shelf, however rounded canisters and stand-alone baskets can also add a nice, organic feeling to a countertop or living space. In general, we're big fans of anything with natural materials and little handmade touches.

Here are 12 of our must-have items to get you inspired (and organized)!
