Paige & Matt in Houston, TX\\nOne New York couple infuses their hip museum wedding with sleek, contemporary details.\\n\\"Matt and I live in New York, and a lot of our guests had never been to Texas before, says Paige, a Lone Star native. \\"So we wanted to show them a good time at a wedding that wasn't too stuffy or formal.\\n\\nShe wore an Angel Sanchez gown, and her hair and makeup were by Mariel Muñoz. Matt wore a J.Crew suit. Paige's simple, modern bouquet featured anemones.\\nPaige's six bridesmaids wore gray J.Crew dresses in a variety of styles (\\"I wanted them to be comfortable and feel like their own fashion sense was reflected,\\" she says), and carried white bouquets; all floral design was by Park Flowers.\\nThe ceremony was held at the Church of (St. John the Divine, in Houston.\\nAfter recessing to Mendelssohn's Wedding March, the couple shared a kiss in the church hallway.\\n\\n\\"I remember feeling completely relaxed for the first time in days, and so happy,\\" says Paige.\\nThe reception was held in the Cullen Sculpture Garden at the Museum (of Fine Arts, Houston.\\nThe couple's 240 guests wrote well wishes in a book of works by Texas artists.\\nGuests dined and danced in clear tents that housed a mix (of square and round tables topped with centerpieces of white flowers.\\n\\n\\"Mixing modern and rustic décor worked really well in the garden,\\" says Paige, who planned her wedding with the help of Keely Thorne Events and her own mother.\\nA \\"flower tower,\\" inspired by an arrangement her mom had spotted in Paris, was placed in the middle of the dinner tent.\\nThe meal (was served buffet style, (and featured a raw bar (and buttermilk-fried (quail—the crowd favorite. (All catering and rentals (were by Swift + Company.\\n\\nThe (cake, by Susie's Cakes, was adorned with gray ribbon that matched the bridesmaids' dresses.\\nPaige slipped into a pair of sparkly Miu Miu oxfords before taking the floor for the first dance.\\nThe newlyweds performed their first dance, to Sam Cooke's \\"Nothing Can Change This Love,\\" played (by Dysfunkshun Junkshun.\\n\\nAt the end of the night, guests were given copies of the Sunday *New York Times*—a nod to the couple's adopted city.
