The couple held hands as they made their way to the altar. The inspiration for this processional came from actress Eden Riegel's real wedding, where she held her groom's hand at the altar throughout the ceremony. Floral designer, [Anthony Brownie](http://anthonybrownie.com/main.php), created two standing cascades of white silk flowers for each side of the ceremony aisle.\\nThe brides wore complimentary dresses—the actresses shopped together to find the perfect gowns. Bianca (on right) wore a one-shoulder [Monique Lhullier](http://www.brides.com/fashion/dresses/gallery/wedding_dresses/runway/designer/moniquelhuillier?f=217%3a3004) sari-inspired wedding gown embellished with delicate beading and matching gold Aldo shoes. Reese's fit and flare gown with a pleated waist and beaded detail was designed by Andrew Gn and is more structured, reflecting the character's personality. (She's an architect.) Both gowns were adorned with gold accents—a current [trend in wedding dresses](http://www.brides.com/fashion/weddingtrendreport/).\\nWhile both brides carried red flowers, each bridal bouquet was unique to each character. Bianca carried roses, ranunculus and anemones, while Reese's bouquet was a mixture of eggplant calla lilies, black beauty and black magic roses.\\nBianca's daughter, Miranda (Haley Evans) played two roles in the wedding ceremony—flower girl and ring bearer. Wearing a lovely red velvet dress by Lucy Sykes, Miranda tossed red petals and carried a white satin ring pillow as she walked down the aisle.\\nDuring the ceremony the couple lit a unity candle, symbolizing the joining of the two of them into one family. Each bride wrote and recited her own vows.\\nAs with all wedding ceremonies, the couple sealed their wedding vows with a kiss.\\nAfter the ceremony the mother-of-the-bride, Erica Kane in a red-colored gown by [Gustavo Cadile](http://gustavocadile.com/), offered her well wishes to the happy couple. Many of the guests, and both of the brides' daughters, Miranda and Gabrielle, are dressed in the wedding's color palette: deep red.\\nAs with most soap operas, the drama unfolds shortly after the ceremony ends so we don't get a chance to see the wedding reception details discussed in earlier episodes, however you will get to see the couple shopping for wedding dresses and attending their rehearsal dinner.\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n\\n[Check out the Brides.com Ceremony Planning section for more ideas for your wedding](http://www.brides.com/planning/ceremonies_traditions/).
