Since Prince William and Kate Middleton welcomed Prince George into the world in July 2013 and proceeded to tote him along with them on various royal appointments, the world has had the privilege of witnessing nearly six years of what may be the cutest moments in the history of the royal family—and things have only gotten more adorable with Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis's arrivals. But it doesn't stop there: Now that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have welcomed a baby of their own (hi, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor!), we're undoubtedly in for many more years of precious cousin hangouts and the antics of yet another pair of doting royal parents.

Some of the sweetest moments with the royal babies have come from William and Harry. There's something especially heartwarming about watching the brothers grow from young princes themselves to dreamboat college students to proud fathers unafraid to let their kids bring out their more sensitive sides. Here, alongside a selection of glorious photos much too pure for this world, are eight moments that prove Will and Harry already have this fatherhood thing on lock.

Mere hours after becoming a father, Prince William proved he was already a natural when he and Kate posed outside the hospital to introduce Prince George to the world. Unable to take his eyes off his firstborn, a besotted Will joked to reporters that he was glad his son already had more hair than him, adding, "He's got a good pair of lungs on him, that's for sure." Bonus dad points: Kate revealed that Will had changed their baby's first diaper and was already a pro.

Just when you thought Will and baby George's cutest moments had already peaked, this iconic father-son moment comes along to steal your heart. This moment went down just after Kate gave birth to Princess Charlotte in May 2015. The coordinating blue sweater-white shirt combos! The perfectly combed blond 'dos! The matching waves! Priceless.

When Charlotte needed a little help up the stairs in July 2017, her dad was there to give her a boost. It's moments like these that have turned William into a total sap: Not long after Charlotte was born, Will said in a documentary about the royal family that becoming a father had made him much more emotional. "I never used to get too wound up or worried about things. But now the smallest little things, you well up a little more, you get affected by the sort of things that happen around the world or whatever a lot more, I think, as a father," he said. "Just because you realize how precious life is, and it puts it all in perspective."

When it came time for George to head off to school in September 2017, William eagerly took on carpool duty. Not only did he and his eldest child pose for the requisite first day of school pictures on their front steps, but also, once they arrived at Thomas's Battersea, William served as a calming presence for a visibly anxious George, holding tight to his son's hand as they met his teacher and walked into school.

As the baby of the family, Prince Louis naturally commands more than his fair share of attention—as evidenced during the annual Trooping the Colour celebration in June 2019, when Will couldn't resist striking up a cheerful conversation with his youngest.

In his first official appearance as a father, shortly after Meghan gave birth on the morning of May 6, Harry could barely contain his excitement. "It's been the most amazing experience I could ever possibly imagine," he said, unable to hold back his huge grin. "How any woman does what they do is beyond comprehension, but we're both absolutely thrilled and so grateful to all the love and support of everybody out there, from everybody out there. It's been amazing, so just wanted to share this with everybody."

Harry and Meghan broke with tradition when they waited several days to let the press meet Archie, then only allowed a select few reporters and photographers inside Windsor Castle for the brief interview and photoshoot. At one point, after Meghan mentioned that her son was "really calm," Harry joked, "I don't know where he gets that from!" Later, he kept the dad jokes coming when he quipped, "He's already got a little bit of facial hair as well, wonderful."

Harry took a brief break from hanging out with baby Archie to oversee the launch of the 2020 Invictus Games in The Hague, but his newborn son wasn't far from his mind. For the event, the Duke of Sussex wore a jacket with his new title—"Daddy"—printed underneath the Invictus logo, which was highlighted to create the (very true) statement, "I am Daddy."

Also during the Invictus Games launch, Harry was gifted a teeny onesie emblazoned with the event's logo for his son. Not only was he thrilled about the gift, but he was also clearly basking in the glow of his newfound dad status: An Invictus athlete who spoke with him at the event told The Telegraph, "Harry talked about how having a small child was his new focus and new goal...Above all, he said he was just amazed by the miracles in the world, and how his child has made a lot of people happy."
