Your wedding-day makeup is, for lack of a better word, a major part of your bridal look. From choosing the right shade of foundation, blush, and bronzer, it takes a lot of work to look your very best (you are being photographed, after all).

Of course, with all the powders being blended and brushed onto your face, you want a little pick-me-up for your complexion. One amazing way to do this? Highlighter! When applied to the high points of the face (think: cheekbones, tip of the nose, brow bones, and cupid's bow), these illuminators give you a lit-from-within glow.

From subtle to practically blinding (in a good way), we've listed some of our favorite glow-getters to add to your pre-wedding beauty routine!

Benefit Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter

A highlighter perfect for beginners, Benefit's cream-to-powder formula is a cinch to blend upon application for a smooth, long-lasting finish. We love the smudge sponge on the opposite end, which allows you to blend the magical formula seamlessly into skin. Watt’s Up! Cream-to-Powder Highlighter, $30, Sephora
