Tucked inside the lush forest of a [New England landscape](http://www.eccr.com/), the dream scene unfolds as a group of fashionable friends gather together to celebrate.\\n[Hive Events](http://www.hive-events.com/) provided New England's only traveling airstream bar and lounge, the perfect vintage space for the party goers to drink and relax.\\nHive Events created a custom drink menu with classic drinks inspired by the 1950s.\\n\\n[Whim Events](http://whimevents.com/) crafted a picnic table from rustic wood slabs and decorated with multicolored snapdragons in vintage hobnail vases. Blue gingham napkins were placed beneath simple white dinner plates.\\n\\n\\"The bride was styled in an authentic floral vintage dress from the 1950s with vintage earrings from [The Something Old Collection](http://www.bridgetkellogg.com/) and emerald suede shoes from [ Chromatic Gallerie](http://www.chromaticgallerie.com/),\\" explains Beth Chapman of [ The White Dress by the Shore](http://www.thewhitedressbytheshore.com/)[.]()\\n\\"We styled the bridal party in a playful way,\\" adds Chapman, \\"with dresses by Ivy and Aster and Coren Moore and J. Crew checked shirt and Nantucket red kackis. The playful attire complimented the rustic setting and helped to add to the air of whimsy that surrounded this shoot.\\"\\nStylists from [D.D. Nickel](http://ddnickel.com/) and Catie Bane Hair provided the finishing touches to hair and make up.\\n\\n\\"The inspiration for this shoot came from our collective longing for a simpler time, all-American happiness, when all anyone needed to have a little fun was a hula hoop and a jello mold.\\"\\n\\n\\n\\"The colors used throughout the shoot were inspired by 1950s fashion and interior design: mustard yellow, teal, orange, black, white, bright pops of red and vintage floral patterns.\\"\\n\\n\\"On her wedding day, the bride wore a vintage-inspired tea length dress, appropriately called, 'Wonderful Tonight,' from [Ivy & Aster](http://www.ivyandaster.com/). The dress was paired with blue patent shoes from Chromatic Gallerie and mid- century vintage earrings and hair brooch by The Something Collection. Keeping with the more laid back feel of the shoot, the groom wore a blue seersucker J. Crew suit and blue suede oxfords from Target that had a touch of whimsy with their red soles.\\n\\"The bridesmaids wore dresses from J. Crew and Jenny Yoo with jewelry from The Something Old Collection and colorful shoes from Chromatic Gallerie,\\" adds Chapman.\\n\\"Styling the fashion for this shoot was such a treat,\\" says Chapman. \\"Working with the vintage fashion was so refreshing and fun!\\"
