Exclusive: Snoop Dillard and Sidney Jackson's Glam Atlanta Wedding

"We wanted everyone to feel luxurious when they walked in the room."

Entrepreneur and restauranteur Mychel "Snoop" Dillard and Sidney Jackson first met in Miami in May 2018. After falling in love and growing their relationship, Snoop decided to surprise Sidney with a proposal four years later at their home.

As the co-owner of multiple Atlanta-based restaurants and lounges with the rapper 2Chainz, Snoop understood the importance of hiring a great team to bring together a large event. The couple's advice to others planning a wedding? "It would be to pick your wedding planner wisely and make sure to check their references," they share. Snoop and Sidney tapped PMBK Events to execute their wedding vision. "The process was pretty seamless because we hired a wedding planner right out the gate. We put the entire process in their hands."

As for the vision? "We wanted an upscale wedding. We want everyone to feel luxurious when they walked in the room," share the couple. To fit that elevated feel, they decided to host their nuptials at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. "We love the classiness and elegance of the Four Season," they share. "We also love the service that we receive when we go there."

On the very special date of 2/22/22, Snoop and Sidney tied the knot in front of 181 of their closest family and friends. Ahead, see more from the special day planned by PMBK Events and photographed by Second Shots Photography.

Sidney got ready that morning with her bridal party and beauty team. "I wanted a soft glam look as I don’t like heavy makeup," she shares. "I stuck with a nude palette." The bride chose makeup artist Donovan Lamar to execute her stunning classic look. To prep her skin for the application, she notes, "I kept my face clean with dermaplaning and lots of water."

Loose curls and an ornate hair piece by stylist Glam by Maame beautifully framed her makeup. As for her nails, Sidney picked out a "very classy nude" hue. She finished her wedding day beauty with a spritz of Maison Francis Gentle Fluidity.

As for her dress? Sidney donned a Swarovski crystal-embellished mermaid gown by Winnie Couture. The bride knew it was the one since "it fit perfectly and I knew my wife would love it." Her advice to other brides looking for their dress? "Keep an open mind–don’t count anything out until you try it first," she says.

Snoop recruited Miguel Wilson to create her wedding looks for the day. "I had Miguel Wilson on-site to help with any issues getting dressed," she adds. She accessorized her sleek black suit to walk down the aisle with custom Cartier Glasses, Giorgio Armani shoes, and custom cufflinks. She topped off her look with her favorite scent Bond #9.

Accents of white, gold, and emerald defined the wedding day palette. This was translated in the ceremony décor with a stunning altar with unique arches, white florals, and tall candles lining the aisle.

Snoop and Sidney had each of their mothers walk them down the aisle. As Sidney glided to the altar, the singer Case performed the song “Happily Ever After.” "We didn’t do a first look," notes the couple. "We wanted the first time we saw each other was down the aisle. We didn’t see each other after midnight, on the night before."

We both wrote our own vows. They mostly centered around our feelings about each other, how we met, and how we plan on making this marriage last forever.

While narrowing down their guest list may have been the most stressful part of planning for the newlyweds, they said actually getting married was the easiest part of the process. "We have always been confident in our decision to get married. So this was, hands down, the easiest," the couple shares.
