Entrepreneur and restauranteur Mychel "Snoop" Dillard and Sidney Jackson first met in Miami in May 2018. After falling in love and growing their relationship, Snoop decided to surprise Sidney with a proposal four years later at their home.
As the co-owner of multiple Atlanta-based restaurants and lounges with the rapper 2Chainz, Snoop understood the importance of hiring a great team to bring together a large event. The couple's advice to others planning a wedding? "It would be to pick your wedding planner wisely and make sure to check their references," they share. Snoop and Sidney tapped PMBK Events to execute their wedding vision. "The process was pretty seamless because we hired a wedding planner right out the gate. We put the entire process in their hands."
As for the vision? "We wanted an upscale wedding. We want everyone to feel luxurious when they walked in the room," share the couple. To fit that elevated feel, they decided to host their nuptials at the Four Seasons Hotel Atlanta. "We love the classiness and elegance of the Four Season," they share. "We also love the service that we receive when we go there."
On the very special date of 2/22/22, Snoop and Sidney tied the knot in front of 181 of their closest family and friends. Ahead, see more from the special day planned by PMBK Events and photographed by Second Shots Photography.

Sidney got ready that morning with her bridal party and beauty team. "I wanted a soft glam look as I don’t like heavy makeup," she shares. "I stuck with a nude palette." The bride chose makeup artist Donovan Lamar to execute her stunning classic look. To prep her skin for the application, she notes, "I kept my face clean with dermaplaning and lots of water."

Snoop and Sidney had each of their mothers walk them down the aisle. As Sidney glided to the altar, the singer Case performed the song “Happily Ever After.” "We didn’t do a first look," notes the couple. "We wanted the first time we saw each other was down the aisle. We didn’t see each other after midnight, on the night before."

We both wrote our own vows. They mostly centered around our feelings about each other, how we met, and how we plan on making this marriage last forever.
