Good news! You don't need to wait until tomorrow to satisfy your Selling Sunset obsession on Netflix—we're sharing an exclusive first look at the new season, which features star Christine Quinn's dramatic winter wedding from December 2019.
"I said wouldn't it be great to [create] a winter wonderland in Los Angeles," Quinn tells Brides of her wedding. Her cathedral venue in Los Angeles was transformed into a scene straight out of a snowglobe—towering frosted trees decorated the space, hundreds of white flowers lined the aisle and snow even fell from the ceiling (no joke!).
But her winter wedding was not a classic cold-weather "I do," instead, she describes it as a "wicked wonderland," in part thanks to her head-turning black wedding dress by Galia Lahav. The bridal designer had never created a black wedding dress before, but when Quinn presented Lahav with the idea, she was immediately onboard—putting together the look in just two-and-a-half-months.
I've always wanted to do a black wedding dress. I always had a different style and I wanted to embellish that.
"I've always wanted to do a black wedding dress," admits Quinn. "I always had a different style and I wanted to embellish that." And her bold bridal look didn't end with the off-the-shoulder gown, either. She accented the fashion statement with a nearly 23-foot black veil (!!!)—the longest bridal accessory Galia Lahav has ever made.
However, what she's most excited for fans to see on the show is her epic entrance to the cathedral, saying, "The one part that I am actually most excited about is my gothic carriage horse reveal. For me, arriving [in a] horse carriage was a dream. I just felt like an absolute princess."
As for what else fans can expect of Selling Sunset this season? "A lot of drama," she laughs. And while you'll have to wait just a little longer to see all of the drama unfold, you can watch a sneak peek of Quinn's epic walk down the aisle below!
