Including where they stand today.

Clare Crawley and Dale Moss are engagedafter just four episodes—And they’ve made Bachelor history!

The moment we’ve been waiting for—The Bachelorette lead has found her man, and it only took three weeks of filming. On the Thursday Nov. 5 episode of The Bachelorette, we finally saw the months of rumors and weeks of teasers play out.

How It Happened

Crawley refused to give the rose to any of the guys on her group date in last week's episode and told Chris Harrison she just wanted to spend more time with Moss, so the producers set up a one-on-one date for the two. After the two professed their love and spent the night together, Crawley decided that her season would end there, leaving her to break up with the other 16 other guys (no easy feat we’d assume). In hearing this news and in typical Bachelor fashion, Chris Harrison started pushing for a proposal. He even called Neil Lane to get a diamond on hand (pun intended) ASAP—more on that later!

Dressed in a long, white gown, Crawley waited for Moss at a secluded part of La Quinta Resort in Palm Springs, CA (where they are filming the entirety of the season). “From the moment I knew that you were coming, like I was so excited to meet you,” Crawley told Moss. “Then when you got here, it was like electricity for me because I knew that I had just met my husband.” Moss echoed that sentiment before getting down on one knee. “I’m not going anywhere,” he said. “And I want to make you happy each and every day, so with that being said, I’m gonna do it. Clare, will you marry me?”

The Bling

Of course, she happily exclaimed ‘Yes!’ and he gave her the ring that nobody can stop talking about. She’s recently been spotted wearing it—which in the past has been frowned upon by producers since it gives away the ending, but obviously, Crawley is not playing by the rules.

And you can seriously see that thing from a mile away. According to reps for Neil Lane, the ring is a central cut diamond that is framed by 2 shield cut diamonds and surrounded by 145 smaller, round-cut diamonds. The whole ring is a whopping 4 and a half carats. Moss and Neil, you’ve really outdone yourselves.

According to Kathryn Money, diamond expert and SVP of Merchandising & Retail Expansion at Brilliant Earth, Clare's beautiful ring could have cost approximately between $100,000 and $150,000. "Clare’s ring features some of this year’s hottest engagement ring trends: elongated cuts and three-stone styles," Money told Brides. "In fact, we’ve seen engagement rings with elongated cut diamonds grow more than 4 times faster than other diamond shapes in the last 6 months!"

If you love Crawley's ring, Brilliant Earth offers similar styles, like their Embrace Diamond Engagement Ring, which you can shop here.

Life After 'The Bachelorette'

Crawley and Moss are still going strong today, ABC even showed some clips of their quarantine life together. And after the episode, they both took to Instagram to finally share the exciting news. “It’s official!!” Crawley wrote. “Love wins!!!! I love you @dalemoss13 !!!!”

Moss also posted pictures of their special moment and captioned it, “Never a point I won’t show up for you @clarecrawley

The happy couple appeared on Good Morning America on Friday (Nov. 6) to talk about their engagement that happened in record timing on the show.

“It feels very surreal. It happened a few months ago but it’s still so fresh, and I could not be more excited,” Crawley told Michael Strahan. When asked at what point he knew Crawley was the one, Moss said he knew after the first group date and never looked back. “In my mind and in my heart, everything was already written. So everything after the fact just validated that, and I knew in my heart that it was gonna be her and I at the end of the day.”

The two have faced a lot of backlash for their quick love story. Crawley told Strahan that she couldn’t believe the hate they were receiving for something like love. “And the things people [were] saying without knowing the full truth and without seeing exactly how things really happened and genuinely happened, it just blows my mind in a world right now where there’s so much negativity and hate and hard things going on right now,” she said. “Love and this type of thing should not be one of those things, so it kind of blows me away.”

Congratulations to the couple on their historical Bachelor engagement! Let's hope that in a year as weird as 2020, we get two Bachelorette engagements in one season! Bring it on, Tayshia!
