After last year’s Zoom ceremony, television’s biggest night has officially made its in-person comeback. The 2021 Primetime Emmy Awards brought some of our favorite small-screen stars together, and they didn’t disappoint with their red carpet looks—especially the ones that gave us serious bridal vibes.
From Jurnee Smollett's princess-inspired gown to Yara Shahidi's sophisticated fit-and-flare dress, the carpet showed off wedding-worthy ensembles we’d love to wear as a bride, guest, or bridesmaid. Here are our favorite moments from the 2021 Emmys red carpet.
Cynthia Erivo

Cynthia Erivo’s custom Louis Vuitton gown immediately grabbed our attention when she stepped on the red carpet. While the green, white, and blue feathering detail on the bottom of the dress was enough in itself to turn heads, it was the white leather on the top of the gown that caught our eye. The dress would make for a fun, modern bridal outfit as a second look for a reception or after-party.
Jurnee Smollett

Talk about a princess moment! Everything about Jurnee Smollett’s Dior Haute Couture gown screamed bridal goals, from the dreamy silk gauze fabric to the fringed strapless top. The Lovecraft Country actress’s elegant updo and Bulgari necklace made the overall look feel even more wedding-worthy.
Elizabeth Olsen

Elizabeth Olsen’s Emmys red carpet look is what minimalist bridal dreams are made of. The cream-colored, caped gown—designed by her sisters Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen and their brand The Row—would be perfect for a micro ceremony or elopement.
Yara Shahidi

Now, this is a bridesmaid dress we’d definitely re-wear. Yara Shahidi walked the Emmys carpet in a vintage-inspired kelly green Dior gown that featured a tulle off-the-shoulder neckline and matching thin belt. Paired with a simple slicked back bun and gold Cartier choker, it’s a bridesmaid-worthy look that would work for any season.
Kaley Cuoco

Kaley Cuoco’s head-turning neon yellow Vera Wang Haute dress is ideal for the bold bride who wants a one-of-a-kind wedding look. The sunny gown featured floral detailing on the straps, a bustier-style top with a sweetheart neckline, and a high slit that would make for a show-stopping reception look.
Kerry Washington

Corset gowns were all over the Emmys red carpet, and Kerry Washington’s silky Etro number was one of our favorites. In addition to the corseted top, the icy blue gown featured a cowl neck and floor-dusting hem. The bold look would be perfect for the bride who wants to change into something a little sexier for the reception.
Anya Taylor-Joy

If you’re searching for some wedding guest dress inspiration, look no further than Anna Taylor-Joy’s Emmys gown. The pale yellow Dior Haute Couture slip dress would make for a stunning fall wedding look, especially when paired with an accessory like Taylor-Joy’s bright yellow opera coat.
Renée Elise Goldsberry

Renée Elise Goldsberry stunned on the Emmys carpet in a silver and white Cong Tri dress that’s ideal for the boho bride. The gown featured fun details like peek-a-boo stomach cutouts, silver embroidery, and a neck-grazing feathery top. We love this for a rehearsal dinner, shower, or wedding after-party look.
