Emily Rochotte

Emily Rochotte is a writer and social media manager that writes for lifestyle publications and works with wedding professionals to grow their business using content and social media. Her articles covering proposals, engagement and wedding jewelry, planning ideas, bridal fashion, wedding trends and real wedding features have been featured on a variety of wedding publications.

Experience

Emily first entered the wedding industry during an internship at The Knot during college and has never left.. She fell in love with the content the company was writing and began writing her own at her next internship (turned first job) at HowTheyAsked.com where she wrote about proposal planning and edited couples' proposal stories. Since then Emily has worked as an Editor and Contributing Writer for numerous wedding outlets including Equally Wed, Perfete, Nearly Newlywed, Bermuda Wedding & Honeymoon, Love Inc. Magazine and more. She believes that every couple should be able to freely celebrate their relationship in the ways that make them happiest (no matter what tradition says).

Education

Emily has a bachelor's degree in marketing from Fordham University where she also minored in Spanish.
