Elizabeth is a Freelance Editorial Assistant for WomansDay.com where she writes and updates articles covering holidays, crafts, faith, food, and more. Prior to this role, Elizabeth was a freelance writer for the national wedding brand The Knot where she wrote monthly articles on marriage licenses and wedding music. She joined Dotdash Meredith in 2021 as a Fact Checker for commerce verticals and has since taken on projects within performance marketing. While receiving a B.A. in English and Italian Studies, Elizabeth was heavily involved in student journalism as an Arts Section Editor for her school newspaper as well as a writer for Her Campus. Elizabeth works to make sure all content is up-to-date by cross-referencing brands' websites and ensuring inline citations are included where necessary.
Education
Elizabeth attended Connecticut College where she received a B.A. in English and Italian Studies. While studying the works of Jane Austen, James Joyce, and Umberto Eco, Elizabeth was also an Arts Section Editor for her college's student-run newspaper, The College Voice, as well as a Campus Correspondent for her college's chapter of Her Campus. Elizabeth was also a Toor Cummings Center for International Studies and the Liberal Arts (CISLA) scholar and completed a comprehensive independent study on Italian Feminism. She graduated as a Winthrop Scholar and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.
