Exclusive: Preview David's Bridal's Spring 2021 Collection Inspired by a "Modern Fairytale"

Do you dream of the perfect fairytale wedding—whether that’s a courthouse wedding or a grand party with all of your friends and family, post-Covid, of course? David’s Bridal just released their Spring 2021 line, and it is what fairytales are made of!

Heather McReynolds, VP, General Merchandising Manager of Bridal and Dresses exclusively told Brides that this was exactly the point. Their inspiration for the line was “modern fairytale.”

“Over the past year, we have really seen that love does conquer all and that all brides can still get their happily ever after. Throughout our new collection, you will see romantic and feminine details with a modern touch.”

Maybe your dream wedding has been postponed or is up in the air due to the pandemic, but that doesn’t mean you have to compromise on what matters most: love.

“As we navigate these very unique and challenging times I think it has reminded us of the things that are most important in life, namely our partners, family, and friends,” says McReynolds. “Love is even more cherished now. It gives people a reason to come together and celebrate something beautiful and joyous.”

But still, your dress is important, too! And McReynolds says that the Spring 2021 line was designed to reflect that.

“Despite the pandemic, brides still want to have their bridal moment,” she told Brides. “Some brides are definitely reimagining what that looks like if they have transitioned their plans to a 'minimony' or micro wedding, but others are opting to still hold to their original wedding look even if their wedding itself has become a smaller, more intimate celebration. With that in mind, we wanted to ensure that we had diverse styles of dresses that had a sense of [ease] to them.”

Delicate lace, flowing tulle, sweetheart necklines, statement sleeves, and feminine silhouettes are the stars of this line. And while the magical designs are fit for a princess, they won’t set you back a royal amount—the pricing ranges from $299 up to $1,699. Plus, all of the pieces are available in sizes 0-30 with curvy, petite, and tall cuts, so there are truly endless options for every bride!
