Sherri is an award-winning travel writer and author. She worked as the senior travel editor at Brides magazine from November 2005 to October 2009. Additionally, she served as the chief editor of Brides's annual Honeymoons and Weddings Away supplement. Since then, her work has appeared in Bon Appétit, Condé Nast Traveler, and Budget Travel magazine. In 2010, she published the "Food Lovers’ Guide to Brooklyn." Under Sherri's leadership, Brides received the SATW Lowell Thomas Gold Award for the best travel section in a non-travel magazine.
She earned her bachelor's degree from James Madison University in 1996.
