Jillian is a Cleveland-based journalist with over 10 years of digital and print media experience. Since earning her bachelor's degree in journalism from Kent State University in 2006, her work has appeared in Food & Wine, Glamour, and SELF. When she's not dishing wedding etiquette and advice at Brides, you can find her writing about women's issues, food and beverages, and travel.
Jillian earned her Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in journalism from Kent State University.
During her stint as Associate Editor at Cleveland Magazine, Jillian received several statewide awards. They are as follows: the 2015 Ohio SPJ Award for best science writing, 2015 All Ohio Excellence in Journalism Award for health writing, 2015 Ohio SPJ Award for best public service journalism, 2015 All Ohio Excellence in Journalism Award for investigative journalism, and the 2014 Ohio Excellence in Journalism Award for food writing.
