• Allison worked at Brides for almost six years. She published wedding content like trends, planning, and décor, edited writers’ pieces, and helped monitor and increase traffic.

Experience

Allison worked as an editor at Brides for nearly six years. She published content on wedding planning, wedding décor, wedding trends, travel, and real weddings while also managing writers, monitoring site metrics, and spearheading the newsletter. After her position at Brides, she became a content manager of entertainment, style, and relationships at About.com, where she worked for over four years. She then went on to become the editorial director of The Spruce for four years, and she helped launch the site and manage 60+ writers. Allison is currently the senior director of content and editorial at Angi.

Education

Allison received her bachelor’s degree in journalism, cinema studies, and computer applications from New York University.
