Our Brides Live Wedding countdown clock is quickly ticking, and it’s crunch time for our bride-to-be Savannah Latimer. Next up on her to-do list is tackling possibly the most fun—and emotional—part of wedding planning: finding the perfect dress.
“I’d love something very classic, maybe even a little royal looking,” Savannah previously told Brides. “I want to feel like a queen!” She’s been set on her vision for her upcoming nuptials to soulmate and musician, Riker Lynch, at the majestic Montage Deer Valley resort in Utah. But, as you know, one has to be confident in their perfect wedding dress selection. It’s an expression of your personality, distinctive style, and even a representation of the bond you have with the love of your life. Finding the right dress should make you feel beautiful and joyful like a princess—sorry, we mean queen—starring in your very own fairy tale.
To begin her hunt, Savannah, along with the Brides squad for support, encouragement, and advice, headed to dress boutique Le Marriage Couture, in sunny Los Angeles. Savannah loves Maggie Sottero Designs’ romantic and vintage-inspired aesthetic that has provided dream dresses for countless brides for over two decades.
After trying on a multitude of silhouettes, cuts, and styles (plus, countless mirror selfies for the gram!), Savannah and her virtual bridesmaids narrowed the playing field down to two gorgeous looks.
Brides’ Instagram followers) breath away with the delicate beading on the corseted bodice and stunning Swarovski crystal-embellished lace train. The intricate details and scalloping motifs spoke to Savannah’s boho/rock ‘n' roll style. The draped off-the-shoulder detachable sleeves offer chic versatility for the reception or after-party, hopefully headlined by her groom’s band, the Driver Era.
Savannah in Kathleen by Maggie Sottero, with its romantic sweetheart neckline and dreamy floral lace embroidery, moved the bridal entourage to tears. The exposed boning on the corset is perfect for Savannah’s desired modern, charming and elegant vision. The easy, playful, and tulle-layered A-line silhouette is perfect for her and Riker’s spectacular Utah mountaintop nuptials.
Which gown would you choose? But the bigger question is: Which gown will Savannah choose for her dream fairy tale? Stay tuned for Savannah’s Live Wedding coming September 2019! In the meantime, find your fairy-tale wedding dress now at maggiesottero.com.
