“I asked myself: what is the perfect wedding dress for a woman? My answer was that it has to be festive while flattering and light on the body. The idea was to go back to the basics by creating a classic and timeless collection made for the bride’s eyes: She is at the heart of this collection.” - Dana Harel

"For the S/S22 Marchesa Bridal Couture collection, we were inspired by the White Garden at Sissinghurst Castle in England. The garden is ethereal and achingly romantic, so it was quite fluid to incorporate the whimsical feeling into the new collection. We created hues of ivory and white flowers embroidered with silky thread on crisp gazar, textured bundles of roses buds on ball skirts, and clean lines seen in taffeta and organza." - Georgina Chapman, creative director and co-founder of Marchesa

"This season for the S/S22 Marchesa Notte Bridal Collection, we wanted to create a sense of fresh air, lightness, and joy. We were inspired by the Flower Fields of Carlsbad, blooming with wildflowers. You can feel the lightness of the collection with peony petals placed on the billowy tulle ball gowns and the embroidered baby’s breath on the fit to flare gowns." - Georgina Chapman, creative director and co-founder of Marchesa

"I'm so happy to introduce the Goddess Collection for the Spring 2022 season. My brides are always my inspiration, each having unique qualities, and are modern-day goddesses in their own right. I created this collection in tribute to their limitless feminine energy. I want them to discover their own inner goddess." - Ines Di Santo

“You’ve got to learn to appreciate the little things in life; like a good cup of coffee, or a fresh-smelling flower, or the smile of a stranger as you pass on the street.” The new collection is an invitation to enjoy the small moments in life and the beauty they convey: A celebration of a carefully crafted romantic style, attention to small details, and delicate artisanal work. The collection was designed with the female body in mind, combining luxury fabrics and haute couture—designed to celebrate love, a contemporary fresh interpretation of timeless wedding dresses with elegant French elegance." - Lihi Hod

Andrew Kwon

"For my debut bridal collection, 'Collection 1 – Reminiscence', I started by listening to the scores from some of our generation's most gifted composers—like Max Richter (The Leftovers), Carlos Rafael Rivera (The Queen’s Gambit), and Johann Johansson (The Theory of Everything)—who are all able to convey emotion, strength, and beauty through music. For me, bridging that concept through bridal was paramount and sparked a flood of emotions and memories. Attending my mother’s wedding as a teenager was moving and showed me the resilience brides possess, but also the innate beauty that each woman carries in her everyday life. Having studied dance in my youth, I remember being enchanted by the strength and grace Sophia Lucia brings to her performances. And at Parsons, it was then where I first realized the power of fashion and wardrobe through someone I am proud to call a friend, Olivia Palermo. While I wasn’t at her wedding, her bridal moment was so distinct, timeless, unique, and lasting. With my collection, I hope that I have harnessed these aspects, coupled with the fantasy of mythology. For me, my designs are making those dreams a reality." - Andrew Kwon

"The Art Nouveau collection is again a welcome challenge for us. The Atelier Couture created new designs and embroideries taking inspiration from beginning-of-the-century European artists that were inspired by nature. In fact, this is a delicate, dreamy, and innovative collection inspired by nature and art. We have experimented with new original embroideries, colors, and feelings. The result is ball gowns with architectural and romantic volumes where silk, tulle, satin, mikado gauze, and embroidery mix. We created a fluid and colored collection (that can be made in white too) with new patterns and unique details. This is a collection that brings hope for the future and gives joy to brides in their most important day" - Mr. Yew Loh, CEO of The Atelier Couture

Amsale

"The new collection was inspired by the countless women that decided love was not canceled, despite the uncertainties the pandemic placed on the planning process of weddings and special events. I pulled from their creativity, strength, and perseverance to make sure their day would go on and designed a collection that would not only be beautiful for a micro-wedding or civil ceremony but would live far beyond that special day." - Kai Petty, founder of Fifth & Welshire

Odylyne the Ceremony

"OZMA is based off the 80's classic movie Return to Oz. The film combines both our childhood memories of 'The Wizard Of Oz' and Frank Braum's original gothic ideas through storytelling. Using elements of Baum's mystical stories and the play between both dark and light is where the Ozma collection was born. Taking what is strange and making it beautiful, while adding the elements of magic and fantasy to silhouettes is what makes this collection truly special. You will feel the dream-like components intertwined in each design." - Stephanie White, founder and creative director of Odylyne the Ceremony

Halfpenny London

"The concept behind Unveiled came from the idea that inspiration can be found simply by changing our perspective. I knew we already had so much beauty around us so we’ve looked within once more, using heritage and hero Halfpenny London textiles to create a selection of stunning, dramatic new veils. I adore the densely embroidered primrose flowers which trim the Minnis veil. They cascade down the body, creating a really beautiful daisy chain effect. The trim is taken from a fabric I’ve had for years yet had never used so I’m delighted to have found the perfect opportunity to do so." - Kate Halfpenny, founder and designer of Halfpenny London

As we anticipate turning the corner on the pandemic, you can feel a crackling energy of optimism coursing through the air. Like a fresh crop of flowers, we are back; vibrant and anew. “As wedding ceremonies often became smaller in 2020, I grew intrigued by the idea of expanding the scope of our offerings to accommodate these intimate affairs. Mod-inspired cuts from the 1960s felt fresh and a bit inspired for bridal, and I quickly found myself designing into these new styles. Poppy will feature the same luxe fabrications and the wide array of customization options that Alexandra Grecco has become known for. The pieces, alongside our gowns, are sustainably produced in New York City’s Garment District. I am so pleased to be able to offer this innovative breadth of silhouettes and look forward to outfitting brides who seek a gown alternative for their wedding day.” - Alexandra Grecco

Wiederhoeft

"Bridal felt like a natural expansion, taking on this concept of "modern nostalgia" - something that's familiar, as if you've maybe seen it as a child, but feels modern in its tone and execution. The Wiederhoeft girl is confident, using clothing as a tool to transform into their best versions. The versatility of the collection allows the bride to have multiple looks throughout the night, or even gives her the freedom to wear the look after her wedding day." - Jackson Wiederhoeft, founder of Wiederhoeft

Sophie et Voila

"The Hydrangea is a flower easily found in the Basque Country, next to the farmhouses, where shadow prevails, and water is abundant. It is generally white or pink, but after adding a bit of iron to its soil, it easily turns blue. A powerful flower, that grows in rare environments and is completely versatile. That is Hydrangea. That is our girl. With a simple large flower, in January it must be pruned almost flush to the ground, leaving a few stems empty of life. After, in the second stage, leaves start to appear, radiantly green, that bestows its robust volume. Finally, the flowers appear, like a sum of delicate tiny sprouts. From nothing to everything every year, the Hydrangea is a flower that sprouts with the security of knowing that every spring it will be spectacular. Like Sophie et Voilá." - Sofía Arribas & Saioa Goitia, creative director and CEO (respectively) of Sophie et Voilá.
