Our team is committed to making Brides a more diverse brand. We recognize that we have a lot of work to do, but we can promise you one thing: We will be better. Internally, we're planning actionable long-term commitments and goals that will help hold us accountable, and we look forward to sharing those with you all soon.
To start, we've compiled a list of 150+ Black wedding professionals whose talented work should have been shared a long time ago. This list is just that, a start, and we’ll continuously update it with creative and passionate pros in our industry. New York City-based photographer Amy Anaiz began her career as a talent agent for top still-life and beauty photographers. It was there that Anaiz mastered and refined her photography skills, ultimately launching a renowned photography business of her own.

The photographer behind the viral Black Lives Matter wedding in June 2020, Linda McQueen has captured nearly 270 weddings throughout her career. Born in Haiti and raised in New York, McQueen especially loves photographing multicultural weddings and has also documented weddings in Mexico, the Bahamas and Jamaica.
Sequoyah Daniel is a Brooklyn-based lifestyle, travel and wedding photographer.

Guerdy Abraira calls Miami home but travels worldwide to execute beautiful wedding celebrations for all couples. Prior to opening her own planning company, she worked as a catering manager at a Miami hotel and owned a floral and events studio on Fisher Island.

Fallon Carter fell in love with weddings at a friend’s wedding—so much that she gave up her dream of law school and instead began planning dream weddings for couples around the globe. Andrew Roby is a proud army vet and veteran wedding planner. He is based in D.C., where he leads a team producing “engaging and romantic” celebrations. Lea Stafford is the owner of Lea Stafford Events in Oakland, California.
