BHLDN Spring 2022

Today, brides everywhere are pushing the boundaries of what it means to look "wedding-worthy." Those walking down the aisle are letting go of traditional bridal aesthetics, and are now embracing more contemporary and trendy looks that define the culture of modern-day society. So when tasked to create a new collection for the brides of today, BHLDN stepped up to the plate in the best way possible.

“Our Spring 2022 collection brings to life the layered complexity and sense of discovery that our brides love. The inspiration is drawn from global influences and vintage references, [and] encompasses such an incredible range—speaking to modern brides, romantic brides, bohemian brides, and beyond," shares Lori Conley, general merchandise manager of BHLDN. But it doesn't stop there. The brand goes even further to ensure the quality and designs are of the highest quality, sparing no detail when it comes to the construction of each look.

“What is most unique about this collection is that each piece is artisanally designed with our customer in mind in a true, refined, design process," Maria Korovilas, BHLDN's in-house designer tell Brides. "Every style is carefully crafted in partnership with our elevated manufacturers in a collaborative experience to ensure the integrity of the designs and artworks, and to guarantee the fit and fabrications are superior.”

BHLDN Fall 2020

For its Fall 2020 collection, BHLDN sent ten of their newest looks to a model for her to shoot in her home as a way to adapt to the unprecedented time (Bridal Fashion Week looked quite different this season due to the global pandemic).

The collection, which features 17 unique looks, was inspired by "the decadence of the 1920s interpreted with a modern twist," says Lori Conley, BHDLN's general merchandise manager. For the brand, this season is all about details—pearl accents, intricate beadwork and sparkling fabric paired with modern silhouettes. "The BHLDN bride is beautifully complex. She appreciates detail, craftsmanship and uniqueness. Thoughtful in all ways, she is the ultimate modern tastemaker." Unsurprisingly, the Fall 2020 collection reflects just that.

And in true BHLDN fashion, there's truly a gown for any bridal style. Consider yourself a casual bride? Slide into "Sutton," a satin slip dress with a soft cowl neck and train. Looking for your princess-moment? Give organza ballgown "Hemingway" a spin. Or maybe you want to be the epitome of sophistication on your wedding day? "Veda," a chic plunging neckline gown with long lace sleeves and crepe skirt, is your answer. For Conley however, its the "Kellyn" dress that takes the cake. "From the super soft and delicate full silk skirt to the intricate linear pearl back, this gown is perfection from head to toe," she says.
