“Boy Meets World” Actor Ben Savage Is Married to Tessa Angermeier

After announcing his engagement in January of 2023, Boy Meets World star Ben Savage and girlfriend Tessa Angermeier didn’t waste any time planning their wedding. According to People, a wedding guest shared an Instagram post that explained the couple tied the knot in February of 2023, just one month after the news broke that Savage had popped the question. Stylist Chloe Engelhardt, a friend of the couple’s and a wedding guest, uploaded a few photos of the duo’s ceremony in Los Angeles. "Congratulations to Mr & Mrs Savage, we couldn't be happier for you 'guuuyyyss' 🤍👰🏼‍♀️🤵🏻‍♂️🥂,” she wrote last month. After People and Page Six reported the news on March 16, 2023, Engelhardt’s post was deleted.

According to the photos on social media, the bride wore a sleeveless ball gown with a lace-trimmed veil, and she carried a bouquet of white blooms while she walked down the aisle. The groom sported a classic tuxedo for his big day. After the two were pronounced husband and wife, Angermeier changed into a white sparkly fringe mini dress with white sneakers. The snaps also show the newlyweds hitting the dance floor. 

The award-winning actor first hinted that he and Angermeier were engaged on January 11, 2023. On Instagram, Savage posted a photo of the two of them posing in front of a lake in Owensville, Indiana along with the caption, “The best is yet to come.” The picture also debuted a diamond ring on Angermeier’s left finger. Savage’s friends and followers picked up on the clue right away. Danica McKeller—who starred in The Wonder Years with the actor’s brother, Fred Savage—wrote, “Congratulations!! 😍😍😍.” Fellow actress Arielle Kebbel commented, “❤️❤️❤️.” Emmy-winning correspondent and producer Katie Krause Mork shared, “Congrats!!!!!! 🍾.”

After posting the photo, the actor’s representative confirmed the news to People by sharing a statement that read, “They are both very grateful and enjoying this exciting time with their families and friends.”

Although Savage and Angermeier were first romantically linked in 2018, they have kept their relationship private. In the past few months, the actor has been documenting more moments with his now-wife. In December of 2022, Savage shared a photo of himself and Angermeier celebrating the holidays in Los Angeles, California. “Hope you had the hap hap happiest Christmas,” he wrote. A few days later, he posted another snap of the two of them spending time together at a brewery in Fort Branch, Indiana. His latest post with Angermeier features the pair smiling at sunset in front of a body of water. “Dock of the bay,” he wrote on February 16, 2023.
