Designers from Anne Barge to Safiyaa to THEIA all spotlighted this unique trend in their newest collections, as it's a fresh and modern take on the one-shoulder look. Whether it’s a mini after-party dress or a formal ballgown, you can pair this neckline with just about any bridal style.

What to Look for in an Asymmetrical Neckline Wedding Dress
When shopping for an asymmetrical neckline wedding dress, make sure to keep jewelry top of mind. This silhouette poses a bit of a challenge when it comes to necklaces, but that doesn’t mean wearing one is completely out of the equation. If you are set on wearing a necklace, a choker is a great way to highlight your neck without interrupting the neckline itself.
Is an asymmetrical neckline flattering for all bust sizes?
Asymmetrical necklines generally have less support in the bust area because they tend to be one shoulder or strapless. For this reason, it may not be the best option for those with a larger chest size, but there are some variations of the style that have more support than others. For example, a wraparound asymmetrical neckline usually has a high neck and can provide more support.
Is an asymmetrical neckline timeless?
While an asymmetrical neckline is a current trend that falls on the more modern side, that’s not to say that the silhouette can’t be timeless. If this is a style that you believe you will love in years to come, then it can be timeless for you. Just make sure you are picking a gown you truly love.
What hairstyle is best for an asymmetrical neckline?
You can pair just about any hairstyle with an asymmetrical neckline, but a low updo looks particularly great with the silhouette.
