Brides can expect simple yet sophisticated designs from designer Rita Vinieris, who has two brands: Rivini and Alyne by Rita Vinieris. The daughter of Greek immigrants, Vinieris studied fashion at the International Academy of Design before stepping into bridal as an in-house designer at a boutique in Toronto. She launched her first collection, under the name Rivini, in 1995 and began selling gowns in the United States in 2014.
As demonstrated below, her designs emulate an understated elegance that celebrates both the craftsmanship of each garment, as well as the woman wearing it. Keep scrolling to see Fall 2020, Spring 2020, and Fall 2019 bridal collections from Alyne by Rita Vinieris.
Experimenting with old and iconic silhouettes and new techniques and materials (such as Baroque-inspired lace and refined European silks), Rita Vinieris's latest collection is a present-day play on captivating castles of the past. Consider this the designer's take on the modern-day princess—a bride who will flaunt a crop top, fringed lace sheath, or embroidered cape (in lieu of a veil!) for her unfussy wedding in an opulent space or palace.
