The Brides Team
Leah has nearly 20 years of experience in media and is a veteran beauty expert with numerous appearances on television shows such as Today and Good Morning America. She is a judge on season two of Lifetime’s American Beauty Star.
Before joining Dotdash this year, she was the chief beauty director of Hearst, where she oversaw the content for 12 brands including Cosmopolitan, Elle, Harper’s Bazaar and Women’s Health, bringing trends, news, and solutions to more than 20 million women every month. She also covered the beauty and wellness circuit for Fitness, Self, and Health. Leah graduated with a BA in Psychology from Susquehanna University, and lives in New York City.
Robert has over 10 years of experience in fashion and digital media, and has been with Brides since 2015.
Prior to Brides, Roberta was a digital editor at Women's Wear Daily, learning fashion journalism from the source. Before that, Roberta served as US editor for a Brazilian lifestyle site, and also worked as a fashion publicist with Bismarck Phillips Communications and Media.
Roberta has a degree in Film Studies from Boston University, and lives in Brooklyn.
Elspeth has worked in the lifestyle space for eight years, and has been with Dotdash since 2016.
Before joining Byrdie, Elspeth spent time in the travel world as a founding editor of TripSavvy, Dotdash’s travel brand, and editor at Luxury Escapes, an Australian eCommerce site based in Melbourne. Elspeth landed in the fashion closet at Time Inc. after college, where she spent two years learning the editorial ropes. Her writing has appeared in Architectural Digest, Vogue, Playboy and International and Australian Traveller. She graduated with a degree in Communications and Journalism from Fordham University.
Anna Price has worked in the wedding industry for seven years, and has been with Brides since 2014.
After stints at a stationery store and flower shop in college, Anna Price was formally introduced to the world of weddings—and magazine publishing—as an intern at Atlanta magazine. It was love at first assignment, and she went on to intern at Condé Nast with Brides through the American Society of Magazine Editors internship program. Upon graduation, she joined the staff at Brides. Anna Price now manages the brand’s real weddings and works with wedding planners, photographers, and couples to share their deeply personal, inspiring, and real celebrations.
Anna Price graduated with a degree in English and journalism from the University of Alabama Honors College. She now calls New York City’s Chelsea neighborhood home.
With nearly 15 years of experience in the magazine industry, Kate is an expert in the worlds of decorating, food, and lifestyle. She has covered registry, entertaining, and wedding style for the past five years at Brides, first as the Style Director and currently as a Senior Editor in the commerce department. She has also held positions at Martha Stewart Living, Domino, Cookie, and InStyle magazines. She has a BFA in printmaking and art history from the Rhode Island School of Design and lives in New York City.
Sophie has worked in the fashion industry for over 7 years and has been with Brides since 2013.
With over five years of experience in bridal, Sophie Moore is definitely an expert on all things wedding dress. Sophie’s access to bridal designers and experience in the market has prepared her to bring the Brides reader not only the latest wedding dress trends, but a view of the ready-to-wear, and accessories market from the lens of what a bride is looking for.
Sophie has a degree in Media and Society from Hobart and William Smith Colleges, and lives in Manhattan.
Mariah has been with Brides since 2017.
Before joining Brides, Mariah started her career in weddings by working on the social channels at Style Me Pretty and Style Me Pretty Living. She studied at Syracuse University and received a degree in Magazine Journalism. She currently calls Brooklyn home!
Samantha has worked in the digital publishing industry for over four years and joined the Brides team in 2019.
She began her career as an editorial assistant at POPSUGAR. She was promoted to assistant editor before moving on to Clique Brands, where she managed social media for Who What Wear, Byrdie, and MyDomaine. She also managed social media for Delish.com at Hearst Magazines. In addition, her work has been featured on Cosmopolitan, Esquire, and Women's Health. Samantha graduated from the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida with a B.S. in Advertising, and currently lives in Manhattan.
