Abbi Jacobson Is Engaged to Jodi Balfour

Abbi Jacobson just put a ring on it! The Emmy Award nominee is engaged to South African actress Jodi Balfour, People confirms. The actress celebrated the big news on Saturday, August 6, 2022 with her co-stars from A League of Their Own, an upcoming movie on Amazon Prime Video, at a Cinespia screening for the original film’s 30th anniversary. 

“It’s out,” costar D’Arcy Carden told the publication. “It’s great. We’re so happy. We love [Jodi].” Fellow co-star Chanté Adams also shared her excitement. “Abbi’s engaged!” she exclaimed. “Abbi’s engaged! We’ve had to hide it for … No, I’m kidding.” Jacobson set the record straight, saying that the engagement was never a secret. “You have not had to hide it,” she responded. “That was not a thing.”

The Broad City alum and the For All Mankind actress made their red carpet debut on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the premiere for A League of Their Own. The pair has been dating since 2020, and they made their relationship public in October 2021. “One year with this incredible human,” Jacobson wrote on Instagram. “Don’t know how I got so lucky.”
