Kieran found her vintage beaded gown at Michael’s Consignment Shop for Women in New York and had the neckline altered from a V-neck to a strapless sweetheart. James wore a Ralph Lauren tuxedo rented from Prima Tuxedo in Madison, NJ.

The ceremony took place outside of a refurbished barn at HollyHedge Estate. "The vibrant greens and the dampness in the air almost made it feel like Ireland," says Kieran.

The bride hired three of her college friends to play background music at the reception and trusted them to choose the song for the couple's first dance, a slow jazz tune. "We weren’t too particular," says Kieran. "We just wanted our love to shine through."
