Facilities and Capacity
Boasting 23 immaculate acres, Liberty Hall Museum offers couples the option of hosting their ceremony and/or reception in any of the venues four event spaces: The 1882 Carriage House, Wagon Shed, Glass-Enclosed Porch and Historic Grounds. While The 1882 Carriage House accommodates a maximum of 75 guests, the Wagon Shed seats up to 60, the Glass-Enclosed Porch up to 24 and the Historic Grounds up to 175.

Liberty Hall Museum couples are provided with a number of wedding facilities to utilize during their special celebration. In addition to a fully furnished bridal suite, the venue features spaces for couples to host a bridal shower and rehearsal dinner.

Liberty Hall Museum was built on the eve of the American Revolution in 1772 by New Jerseys first elected governor and signer of the Constitution, William Livingston. Witness to more than 200 years of American history, the venue has seen the likes of countless dignitaries, such as George Washington and Alexander Hamilton. Hosting its first wedding in 1774, when Sarah Livingston married first chief justice of the United States John Jay, the venue offers couples the opportunity to create a little history of their own.

Liberty Hall Museum is proudly located in the heart of Union, New Jersey. A short distance from Kean University, the venue is approximately two miles from a number of popular landmarks. Said locations include, but are not limited to, Elizabeth River Park and Warinanco Park.
