Autumn’s bounty includes brussels sprouts, butternut squash, cranberries, ginger, pears, mushrooms, concord grapes, and of course, the pie-destined pumpkin (though we encourage you to use it in soups, starters and main courses, too!). Think of it this way: if the season is good enough for a feast like Thanksgiving, we think you’ll find plenty of inspiration for your own bridal banquet.
If you must have something on your menu (like mango) that isn’t grown locally or that’s out of season, ask your caterer to source all of your food from right here in the United States. Chances are, it’s available in California or Florida.
