Greenhouse Tonic

In a mason jar, muddle a handful of dill, 3 basil leaves, and 4 cucumber slices with 1 tsp. lemon-verbena simple syrup and 2 oz. gin. Add 3 ice cubes and tonic water to taste. Garnish with a cucumber slice.
