"Olivier and I got married at a little church in La Roche-Guyon, a charming medieval village in the Seine Valley near Giverny, France. After the ceremony, a four-piece jazz band led everyone out of the church and into town. People stopped to watch and cheer as we made our way through the village and down to the Seine River, where a boat was waiting to take Olivier and me to a nearby private island. My parents have a vacation home there—it's where both of my sisters got married and I've always known I would, too. Since the ceremony was very emotional, we wanted to have a private moment between just the two of us. Once we arrived, it was all about the party: We finished dinner at midnight and released floating lanterns into the night sky; then we danced until seven a.m.!"
