Some of the best wedding photos are ones you don't plan. Here, brides share the story behind their most memorable snaps.

"Our wedding ceremony was very emotional. Jared and I wrote our own vows and read letters we'd written to each other aloud—there wasn't a dry eye in the house. And I'm very shy, so speaking in front of everyone was nerve-racking. But once we were pronounced husband and wife, we kissed, grabbed hands, and ran out of the chapel as a six-piece band broke into song. We had secretly planted the band in the rear of the chapel and surprised our guests with a New Orleans–style 'second line' parade from the ceremony to the reception. Jared and I led the parade and danced our way down the hill—we were literally jumping for joy—so happy to be married, and relieved that the hard part, the ceremony, was over so we could just relax and enjoy the rest of the day with our friends and family."
