What to include in your contract

State the delivery date and wedding location.

Create a repercussions clause (such as a partial refund) in the event of delivery snags.

Note whether the stationer is liable for mistakes such as typos corrected in the proofs.

Add all applicable fees: delivery charges, printing costs, assembly fees, additional invitations and envelopes.

Make sure a refund policy is included; it should specifically state what you will be refunded if you cancel your order, and what a vendor will pay if he or she cancels services.

State the agreed-upon price and what that fee includes.

Note all of the design elements: color, designer, typeface and type of paper.

Record all of the types of stationery that you're ordering.
