From bold modern blooms to romantic blush buds, we've rounded up some of the best floral décor for a sunny summer wedding.
Baby's breath has only recently regained popularity as a cheap wedding flower that can actually look modern en masse. Queen Anne's lace—the white flower featured in this centerpiece—works similarly well as a stand-alone bloom in an arrangement. For this accent centerpiece, L.A.-based botanical stylist Lauryl Lane paired the delicate flower with quirky scabiosa pods. "Queen Anne's lace is a low-end filler flower, so it's a smart way to affordably fill a tablescape. This look isn't easy to DIY, however. Queen Anne's lace doesn't like floral foam, so stems have to be hand-tied and arranged in standing water. There's a lot of technique involved," says Lane.Michael and Anna Costa Photography
