We asked four florists to offer fresh takes on the most popular wedding flowers in their shops.

Starting Point: Dahlias

Dahlias are only available from late summer through fall, making them an obvious choice for autumn weddings. "I love dahlias in deep burgundy and magenta—as opposed to orange and red—for a fresh take on the 'rustic' look," says Jessy. If you like the big impact of dahlias but are marrying in the spring, Jessy suggests substituting peonies.
