Erica and Riva on Shelter Island, NY

One couple holds their wedding at a cozy, tucked-away inn on Shelter Island.

The Jewish ceremony took place on the inn's lawn beneath a chuppah created with the cloth and poles of two separate chuppahs used by close friends of Riva's and Erica's.

Erica and Riva were married in a small civil ceremony in Greenwich, Connecticut, by Erica's grandmother, a retired New York State Supreme Court justice. A few days later, the couple hosted a religious ceremony and reception for 125 guests at a quaint estate on Shelter Island.
