The bride's dress was custom-designed for her by Demetrios and featured a corset top with a modified sweetheart neckline. The lace skirt was embellished with flowers and handsewn crystals. The groom wore a Middle Ages–inspired doublet, which matched the garb of the rest of the guests, who were asked to dress in period clothes.

Former Deep Purple guitarist Ritchie Blackmore met Candice Night in 1989 at a charity soccer game. Their relationship grew naturally—a few years later they moved in together, then Candice went on tour with his band before the two started writing their own music together. Now they have been with each other for 19 years and play their music in castles all over the world in the band Blackmore's Night.
They took inspiration from the Renaissance fairs that they play their music at and created an extravagant wedding at the regal and picturesque Castle on the Hudson. The wedding featured custom-made attire for the wedding party, a gilded color scheme and loads of entertainment including a performance by the bride and groom.
