During a surprise trip to Paris, Scott took his high school sweetheart, Angela, to a beautiful spot with a view of the Eiffel Tower and presented her with a teddy bear he had given her several years earlier. Tucked inside the back seam was a note that read, "Look in my left pocket." There was the ring!

As avid travelers, the Ohio couple always knew they wanted to have a destination wedding. "After our amazing trip to Paris we decided that was where we wanted to get married," says the bride. The two chose to marry at the Four Seasons George V hotel, where top-notch cuisine and a reputation for extravagant floral design made their long-distance planning process a cinch.

Guests arrived in Paris the day before the wedding and were treated to a rehearsal dinner aboard a boat provided by Yachts de Paris, which traveled down the Seine, allowing guests to take in the sights of the magnificent city. With historical accents and a lush color scheme setting the stage for a regal affair, the reception followed the next day.

Scott and Angela went on a photo shoot around Paris the day before their wedding. Angela wore a strapless mermaid-style dress covered with beading and embroidered lace because she wanted to save her silk taffeta Amsale gown, from Saks Fifth Avenue, for her wedding day. Her white faux-fur stole was from David’s Bridal. Scott wore a classic Armani tux, also from Saks Fifth Avenue in Columbus, Ohio.
